Assisteens participate in a variety of philanthropic programs serving the community.  Some they've developed themselves and some are in collaboration with other nonprofits.

®

Assisteens attend monthly meetings to work on projects, collaborate and learn leadership skills.

Membership Information


  • ​Membership in Assisteens is open to young men and women entering 7th through 12th grade (12th graders as new members isn't an option).
  • ​Applications are accepted between April 1 and August 15 for each year for the next fiscal year (June 1-May 31).
  • ​The 8 Assisteens meetings are held monthly, from September - May (no meeting in December).  Orientation of new members is in August.
  • Fundraising activities and philanthropic projects take place throughout the year outside of regular monthly meetings.​
